At the beginning of the school year I mentioned that I was part of NSLS. Well, being secretary wasn't changing enough in the society for me. In fact, I've been a bit fed up with our chapter lately and I've decided it's time for change.
This past week I received an email from President. She said that she is having some medical problems that will force her to resign. She needs someone to step up and take her position. Guess what that means?
That's right. You are looking at the new President in training of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Well... figuratively of course- if you can really "look" at me right now then we might have some bigger issues :)
I am a bit hesitant to take on this responsibility, especially since I've been doing so many other things lately, but I'm ready to get down in the trenches. I can't meet the ridiculously high expectations I have of myself, but I can make some slight difference that will hopefully carry our chapter of NSLS safely through the semester. I've got goals for the society and I know I can stir things up enough to make a difference!
Basically, I'm kinda a big deal now.
Thanks for reading!
