We did it!

We made it through fall semester without killing each other!

This semester has been fantastic. I've had tons of fun with the amazing girls I live with and the marvelous people I've become friends with! I couldn't ask for anything more :)

Yesterday we had a "going away party" for Ashley since she's going to be moving out this week. I can't believe it! We had such a fun time! We had a few extras over and it really made it a party! We had ice cream cake made by Janelle, games provided by myself, and good conversation all around. I've been ridiculously happy with the way my life is panning out this semester and I can't believe it's been a whole semester already!

This past weekend we went on an adventure to Kanarraville Falls. We hiked through the ice and snow and river until we couldn't hike any farther. It was a blast! People said we were crazy, and we probably are, but it was an adventure anyway! Everyone except Shae was soaked to the bone from falling in the frigid water. We were the first to do the hike since the last snowfall and it was epic! I felt like we were exploring a new frontier. Fantastic!

I feel like I've learned a lot about myself this semester. The most important thing I learned was that good times come with good people and a good attitude. If I hang out with people who have love to give and I can give love to them in return, then there is no reason for my life to be sad.

At this very moment I can hear Janelle tripping in the kitchen and making all sorts of noise. I can smell a whole mix of air fresheners, cleaners, and food. I can feel happiness exuding from all corners of our happy little apartment. Life isn't easy, everyone knows that..... but that doesn't mean you can't have a really good time with the people you know now and the life that you are living in the present. We've been given only 100 years on this earth- why not celebrate every minute of it?

I love my friends, I'm extraordinarily grateful for my family, and I love the experiences I am having!

Thanks for reading!
